Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia. It was built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. It was a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu. It's now Buddhist.
The temple's architecture was inspired from Southern India's architecture.

TAJ MAHAL
In 1631 Shah Jahan was the Mughal emperor. His wife Mumtaz Mahal died during childbirth. Just before she died, she requested that a mausoleum for her be built. Shah Jahan granted his wife's wish, and constructed the Taj Mahal.
