HOW TO STUDY

TIPS:

1. Do your homework before every class. This will help you to prepare for the test; it will also teach you how to take a test. Above you will see study guide links to test 1, 2, and 3. Click the link for your next test, and stick to what's there. That is what will be on the test.

2. Find a place with few distractions, and only study there. When you feel your concentration span starting to go, get up, and take a quick break. Then go right back to studying. You will notice a big difference in your concentration span within 6 months.

3. Read a book on mnemonics. It will help you remember and save time. CNN has an article on the subject: Forgetting things? Mnemonics can make them stick.

4. Study in groups. Although some students prefer to study alone, research shows that students that study in groups do better. Remember more minds are better than one - usually.

5. Take advantage of the tutoring center. Statistics show that tutoring raises a students grades by a letter grade.
